About Instructing with Tax School

Tax School instructors are practicing tax professionals who teach continuing education seminars and webinars to other professionals in the field.

This is a paid, seasonal instructional opportunity that allows instructors to share their expertise while staying engaged with current tax developments and a broader professional community.

Most instruction takes place in the fall, aligned with our 2-day Fall Tax School, with additional opportunities possible throughout the year. Instructors should expect to teach in person in Illinois, along with participating in periodic virtual and in-person meetings to review and refine course content in preparation for teaching.

Onboarding of new instructors will depend on a number of factors, but could include shadowing or team-teaching with an established instructor or filling in as a substitute in case of instructor illness.
