Group Viewing Available for Fall Tax School (Online)

Group viewing is an option for groups of two or more people who would like to participate in Fall Tax School together.

To enroll in the group viewing program, simply fill out the sign-up form below. Some items to keep in mind before enrolling:

  • Each person must be registered for Fall Tax School already (this form is not a substitute for event registration)
  • All participants must be registered for the same Fall Tax School dates.
  • Attendance must be verified by an attendance monitor. This person does not need to register and cannot earn CPE for the event.
  • You must submit this enrollment form at least 1 week prior to the first Fall Tax School date for which you want to group view.

Group Viewing Program Details

  • Following form submission, a member of Tax School staff will generate an attendance form, which will be sent to the attendance monitor via email.
  • The attendance monitor is responsible for having employees log their arrival and departure times, as well as collecting employee signatures at the end of the event. The attendance monitor will also provide their signature on the attendance form to confirm accuracy of information provided.
  • The attendance form must be returned to Tax School via email or fax within one (1) business day of each date of attendance.
  • All registered individuals will receive their own set of materials (2024 University of Illinois Federal Tax Workbook) and login instructions. However, only one person from the group needs to log in for the live Fall Tax School session(s). When participating as a group, the poll questions throughout the event do not have to be answered.
  • Upon receipt of the completed attendance form, Tax School will proceed with calculating, awarding, and reporting CPE credit for each participant in the group viewing program. CPE certificates are sent via email within 3 weeks of the event date. If a participant would like to have credits reported to the IRS or other accrediting body, they must indicate that during the event registration process.
  • CPE is calculated differently for those who participate in Fall Tax School individually vs. via group viewing. Therefore, it is important to notify Tax School of any changes to your group viewing enrollment – adding participants, removing participants, etc. Failure to notify Tax School of such changes may affect the ability to award CPE.

NOTE: All of the above only applies if the group has made arrangements with Tax School in advance and is for online Fall Tax School only.
