Les Marti

Les Marti has more than three decades of experience in tax planning and preparation, beginning his career in 1987. He focuses primarily on small business and farm taxation, working closely with clients to address the practical challenges they face year to year.

Les has operated his own practice since 1997. In 2015, he incorporated the business as LesTax Ltd and has continued to grow the firm, recently bringing on an associate as part of his long-term transition planning.

In addition to his work in practice, Les is actively involved in tax education. He serves as an instructor and Federal Tax Workbook contributor for the University of Illinois Tax School and teaches independently for a variety of professional groups. He also spent many years as an instructor with the National Association of Tax Professionals.
