Fall Webinars

Tax School instructor teaching webinar in front of microphone and computerWe are offering our Fall Tax School topics via a webinar format. Don't worry, we'll still have the live, in-person seminars throughout the state of Illinois, too! We just know that some tax professionals prefer not to leave their office to obtain their annual CPE, and these webinars offer that convenience.

If you would prefer to get your CPE in a classroom setting, click here for information about Fall Tax School in Illinois.

Will I still get the Federal Tax Workbook?

Each webinar will include a PDF version of the accompanying chapter from the Federal Tax Workbook. Printed workbook chapters will not be provided.

Why should I attend a webinar instead of a Fall Tax School live location?

That's completely up to you! We know a lot of people still prefer to learn in a live, in-person environment, and we have 30 locations across the state of Illinois at which you can attend Fall Tax School in person.

The benefits of the webinar option include:

  • Convenience. No travel required! Take the webinars from the comfort of your own computer.
  • Choice. You can pick and choose which topics interest you most and just purchase those webinars.
  • Available nationwide. Simple geography means that most attendees of our live Fall Tax School seminars live in or close to Illinois. These webinars allow people nationwide to learn valuable federal tax information and earn CPE credit, all taught at the high standards of the University of Illinois Tax School.
  • Refresher for Fall Tax School attendees. Even if you attend Fall Tax School live, these webinars make great refreshers that you can view and refer to throughout tax season!

Can I tell my tax preparer friend in another state about these webinars?

Absolutely! These webinars will be open nationwide, so be sure to let your colleague/friend/old college roommate know about them.

Can I earn referral rewards by referring a colleague who registers for one of these webinars?

No. Referrals for these webinars are not eligible to earn Referral Rewards.
