Action taken by Congress in response to the recent pandemic provided many relief measures which, at first glance, appeared to potentially conflict with one another. Through recent legislation, taxpayers can benefit by coordinating multiple relief measures. In addition to this discussion, this 100-minute webinar discusses compensation issues; when monies paid to workers are wages and when they are not; illustrates tax-free and taxable fringe benefits; discusses the return and extension of excess business losses (EBLs); identifies changes to small business tax deductions; and reviews small business tax credits including the nearly forgotten FICA tip credit.
Fall Tax School webinars feature live audio and video instruction, plus a PowerPoint presentation. Each course includes a set of materials that accompany the course presentation.
The webinar will be recorded and everyone registered will receive access to the recording for playback. The recording allows you to get the information if you can’t attend the webinar live and/or if you want to review the presentation after the fact. Please note: we can only award CPE if you attend the live webinar and complete the engagement activities.
