Justin Teal Seno

Justin Seno serves as a Director of Gift Planning and has been a member of the Gift Planning and Trust Services team for over five years. Justin specializes in helping University of Illinois donors achieve their financial and charitable goals by understanding income tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and charitable planning opportunities. Prior to joining the University of Illinois Foundation, he was a member of the advancement team in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign “UIUC.” Before joining the University of Illinois, he served his undergraduate alma mater Eastern Illinois University “EIU” for about two years. Justin started his fundraising career in 2009 in Champaign, Illinois by helping the High School of Saint Thomas More run their advancement efforts making him a teenager in fundraising years.

 

Justin received his Bachelor of Science in Business degree from EIU, his Master of Education in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership degree from UIUC, and proudly earned his right to use the CERTFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM mark in 2020. Justin is the Vice President for the Eastern Illinois Estate Planning Council and enjoys giving back to the community. Justin grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and currently happily resides in Champaign with his spouse, Lydia, their six-year-old child, and twelve-year-old dog. When Justin is not spending time working or with his family, you can find him working out at the YMCA, running the streets training for the next race, or doing something outdoors.
